We will assist you in creating products (displays) using human-centered and life engineering.
As an example, I will introduce a method for evaluating the limit of "blurriness" of a display.
**Evaluation by Human and Life Engineering** ■ Evaluation Method We will prepare various specifications for evaluation subjects and evaluators as shown below, cover them with films of different haze values, and conduct evaluations in a specially constructed evaluation room according to the evaluation items. ■ Evaluators We will provide individuals with varying characteristics, including elderly people, young people, men, women, those with different visual acuities, and individuals with color vision deficiencies. ■ Evaluation Subjects - Images (Standard images No. 1 to No. 2 used by NHK) - Intermediate colors (six types of color samples where one of R, G, or B is fixed at 0 gradation, another at 128 gradation, and the third color varies in 48 gradations) - Black and white patterns (such as Landolt rings). Please refer to the attached materials for specifics. ■ Haze Film Specifications Please refer to the basic information. ■ Evaluation Room Please refer to the basic information. ■ Evaluation Items (1) Blurriness The evaluation of the view of the outside scenery through a window will be rated from 1. unchanged to 5. very unpleasant, with the limit set at 3. still acceptable. (2) Difference in Visibility The difference in visibility will be evaluated as "indistinguishable" by the human eye. **Expected Outcomes** We will be able to determine the limit value of "blurriness" for displays.
